Description
This versatile vise is designed for easy mounting on any work surface up to 1-7/8" thick, using either the swivel head screw clamp or screws/bolts via the two 1/4" screw holes. Ideal for light-duty woodworking tasks, it features slightly inward-tilting jaws at the top to ensure a secure grip on your workpiece. Constructed from high-quality cast iron with a durable baked-on finish, the vise is built to last.
The top and sides of the jaws are precision-ground flat and square for superior alignment. With a 6" jaw width, a maximum opening of 5", and a jaw depth of 2", it accommodates a variety of projects. Pre-drilled holes in both jaws allow for the installation of wood jaws to protect delicate workpieces. Additionally, the precision-ground Acme screw, spindle, and guide bars are chrome-plated for corrosion resistance.
